Today I saw some guy getting a blowjob in an office in the building across the street from my room.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SO FUNNY!

Ok, this scenario is not about me (even though I fucking hate my roommate right now):

Roommate A asks Roommate B if she can watch the Golden Globes this evening.

Roommate B politely tells Roommate A that she needs to do work and the TV would be distracting, but offers the alternative of Roommate A watching it in the lounge.

Roommate A says ok and goes out to eat pizza.

Roommate B begins doing her work.

Roommate A comes back and turns the Golden Globes on in their room.

Roommate B goes WTF.

Seriously?
How is it possible for so many people to walk around without brains?

After weeks of needing my winter coat, why the fuck am I sweating?
WTF, weather?

My acting class is THE SHIT.
My voice & speech class is THE SHIT.
My movement class is cool.
My vocal production is, well, I've only had one class so I have no idea, haha.
Theatre history is a joke, but even the teacher knows that. It's only there so the school can be accredited or whatever.

But seriously, my acting class to so great! She teaches us these games that are unbelievably fun, and by the end of it we've learned stuff about ourselves and how aware we are and it helps us in our acting. Thing is we're having so much fun that we don't even realize we've grown until the end. It's fucking brilliant! And the teacher is just so wonderful. AHHHH!

The voice and speech teacher is a little odd, but in a good way. His teacher was Edith Skinner, so everyone's like, "Ok, so you are awesome." Magnificent.

I fucking love this school. I FUCKING LOVE IT.

I was in Times Square after they announced Obama was president. That was some crazy shit. Then I was at Rockefeller Center while he was giving his speech. CRAZY.

I feel like I've done a lot of cool things here, but really there is still so much to do.

Like laundry. Shit.

I'M IN NEW YORK!
My room is pretty cool. I've already put things up on the walls.
My roommate is also pretty cool. Actually, she's really great!
Everyone I've met has been extremely nice and great fun to hang out with.
The city is amazing.
The first night, some friends and I got into a comedy club for free.
We saw Ice T there (with his hos).
Second night, hung out at Madison Square Park. Met MORE awesome people. Froze our asses off.
Tonight, WHO KNOWS!

This truly is a magical place. I can't wait to start classes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call of a recorded pro-McCain message and it said, "Did you know Barack Obama has worked with terrorists?"

It went on, but that's when I hung up.

I have no idea how to pack.
My one suitcase is bigger than the carry-on limit.
I'm going crazy.
Hello, NY.

I finished watching Battlestar Galactica and Dr. Who which makes me sad. I want more now!

True Blood is good though. Gross...and massive amounts of sex scenes...but good. Vampires, the South, Anna Paquin, a HOT vampire named Bill. Awesome. And the opening theme song = amazing:

when you walked in the air went out
and every shadow filled up with doubt
i don't know who you think you are
but i know this much is true

i wanna do bad things with you

anytime.

After watching An American Crime, god, I wanted to puke. The movie isn't terribly graphic (at least by my standards), but it doesn't have to be and really shouldn't be (if it was, even I wouldn't be able to watch it). The true story is just so fucked up. I can't imagine how someone could do that to a child. Yes, the woman was messed up in the head, but then the town just sat back and let it happen/fucking participated! Disgusting. Humans are disgusting.

I went to the eye doctor today. It was no fun. He wanted to dilate my eyes. I told him I was driving. He said, "Oh, you'll probably be fine." I was like, "Uh, false." No dilation for me. Then he said I was allergic to my contacts and they were giving me papules or something. He said that this should cause me to feel my contacts in my eyes. I told him that was false. Then he told me the optic nerve in my left eye was slightly bigger than the one in my right, but not by a lot. Hmmm, and here I thought the human body was perfectly symmetrical and no one could possibly have something on the left that was a little bigger than something on the right. FALSE.

In short, THPPPPPPPPPPPPP. I think he is one of those doctors that just has to find something wrong.

Oh, and my appointment was at 2. I got there at 1:45. I didn't get seen until 2:45.

Oh, and the girl sitting near me waiting to be seen was holding a mirror up to her nose and just picking away at it. No joke. No frakking joke. And it's not like she was 4 or something. She was probably my age.

Please refer to icon to understand my mood.

ETA: I saw a HUGE sign that said "MCCAIN COUNTRY." I wanted to stop and add "WOULD BE THE LAST THING THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THIS."

PS. I changed the cats' names to House, Wilson, and Cuddy. House isn't very sociable.
